The purpose in my art is to show the true beauty in the world that everyone might not see.

About the Artist
I was born 1996 in Harrison, Arkansas. I have been drawing my whole life. Drawing and painting comes naturally to me, possibly, because it is the only thing I have ever truly taken the time to know and understand. My mother helped influence my artistic side, even as a child. Whenever she had free time she would always be drawing pictures, mostly of horses, because I loved seeing the animals. As I got older I wanted to help, so she would let me attempt to draw on the horses’ manes as well as the tails. Slowly I started teaching myself how to draw horses through observing her techniques. I have a wonderful relationship with my mother to this day because she is still someone who inspires me to always work forward and improve myself as an artist.
My primary mediums are oil pastels and oil paints. After graduating from Fulton, Missouri Senior High School I enrolled at Lincoln University, in Jefferson City, Missouri in (2014). My mother and grandmother attended Lincoln University; my grandmother was the secretary for one of the past Lincoln University presidents (Dr. David B. Henson). I plan to graduate from Lincoln University with a degree program of Art Education and Studio Art. I chose These two degrees because I know there is no way I can go through life without doing something related to art and be happy.
